Part of good healthcare is being transparent that benefits are never guaranteed — and that’s true here too.

That said, every strategy inside the MS Physikit is grounded in science. Our approach targets four key areas that research suggests can help support better outcomes in MS.

Neuroplasticity:

The brain can rewire and adapt after damage. Many of our strategies tap into this potential through sensorimotor re-integration, which has strong evidence in MS (Tomassini et al., 2012 – DOI: 10.1038/nrneurol.2012.179 | Sandroff et al., 2020 – DOI: 10.1177/1545968320921836)

BDNF Upregulation:

Several strategies promote physical activity, which can increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) — a molecule that supports brain cell protection and repair in MS (Shobeiri et al., 2022 – DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0264557)

Peripheral Muscular Conditioning:

Some of our strategies are based on resistance training, which strengthens muscles to improve efficiency and endurance even when nerve damage is present in MS (Platta et al., 2016 – DOI: 10.1016/j.apmr.2016.01.023)

Autonomic Rehabilitation:

A few strategies are relaxation-based, aiming to reduce stress responses. Emerging evidence suggests this can help support balanced immune function and improve psychosocial wellbeing in MS (Senders et al., 2012 – DOI: 10.1155/2012/567324)

While results will vary for each person, these pillars give you the strongest possible foundation based on current science.

The MS PhysiKit includes around 74,000 words of written content, spread across 14 targeted modules.
We estimate this to be the equivalent of 12+ hours of course time, when combined with the practical self-assessments, real-world strategies, and expert-led video guides included throughout.

To put it into perspective:
It's about the same depth and content as attending 10–20 face-to-face physiotherapy sessions — but available to you anytime, at your own pace, for the price of just two sessions.

(The MS Physikit is $399 AUD, compared to the standard NDIS physiotherapy rate of $193.99 per session.)

The MS PhysiKit is designed to be safe for home use. Any strategy that involves balance has been adapted to suit different needs; most include seated or supported variations to ensure safety for those living alone. However, the course is best suited to people with independent mobility.

Throughout the course, we clearly flag any higher-risk situations and recommend when it’s important to seek face-to-face support from a healthcare provider. Your safety is our top priority.
