The PhysiKits Story.

We started with a simple question: What if healthcare education felt more like support—and less like a system?

That question became our mission.

PhysiKits was founded by two practicing physiotherapists, registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), who are passionate about bridging the gap between healthcare and everyday life.

As university trained health professionals, we believe everyone deserves access to clear, practical, and accessible healthcare education—no matter their diagnosis, background, or location.

We provide neurological-specific courses (PhysiKits) and a supportive community platform (PhysiHub) designed to help individuals living with disabilities, caregivers, and healthcare professionals make informed decisions and foster greater independence.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide accessible, practical, and evidence-based digital resources that make healthcare education simple and empowering, helping individuals living with disabilities take control of their journey, build confidence, and thrive in their everyday lives.

Our Vision

We envision a world where people living with disabilities have the knowledge, confidence, and tools to live with greater independence, empowered by accessible education that supports informed decision-making and a more self-directed, fulfilling life.

The Physiotherapists Behind PhysiKits

 Kenzo Kishimoto: Co-Founder

Kenzo Kishimoto is a neurological physiotherapist passionate about making expert support more accessible for people living with complex conditions.

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. His honours research, focused on improving how electromyographic muscle activity is measured, is published in the journal PLOS One (https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0277947).

Kenzo has worked across acute neurological rehabilitation and private musculoskeletal practice, but found his true passion in community neurological physiotherapy. He now runs his own business as a sole trader, where he continues to build strong therapeutic relationships and tailor care to each individual.

PhysiKits was born from Kenzo’s belief that the right information and strategies can completely shift someone's confidence — and that this guidance shouldn't be reserved for the lucky few. He’s passionate about turning deep clinical insight into practical, real-world tools that people can use on their own terms.

Outside of work, you’ll find Kenzo hiking, gardening, tending to his home menagerie, playing piano, or learning a new calisthenics skill.

Samuel King: Co-Founder

Sam King is a neurological physiotherapist, strategist, and storyteller who believes good ideas should be practical, impactful, and easy to access.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University and has spent the past six years supporting people living with neurological conditions. Sam’s career spans private practice, complex multidisciplinary neurological care, and paediatric rehabilitation at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, where he worked with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cases across all ages.

Sam continues to see clients as a sole-trader, delivering mobile, goal-directed neurological therapy across home, school, and community settings. His mission is to help people build future health, achieve meaningful goals, and live with greater independence through therapy that fits real life.

PhysiKits was born from Sam’s passion for bridging the gap between clinical expertise and accessible support — creating tools that are empowering, practical, and easy to understand.

Outside of work, Sam keeps active through surfing, running, gym training, and camping adventures. He loves spending time outdoors, catching up with friends, and finding new ways to stay connected to an active, positive lifestyle.
