Introducing PhysiHub: A Supportive Neuro Community
Apr 27, 2025Through our time working as community-based neurological physiotherapists, we noticed a pattern we couldn’t ignore.
Many of our clients felt isolated. Not just physically, but socially and emotionally too.
Whether because of reduced mobility, fatigue, or the challenge of finding someone who truly “gets it,” many people navigating a chronic neurological condition find themselves disconnected from others.
It’s one thing to have a plan for your rehab. It’s another to feel seen, supported, and connected.
That’s why we created PhysiHub; a safe, welcoming space to connect with others who actually understand the ups and downs of living with a neurological condition.
Social Isolation Is a Hidden Symptom
When people think about symptoms of neurological conditions, they often picture mobility issues, stiffness, loss of strength, or balance.
But for many, isolation is just as debilitating.
-
Fatigue or mobility issues can make face-to-face meetups feel impossible, or draining.
-
Embarrassment or stigma (around topics like continence or persistent pain) can make people withdraw.
-
Not knowing anyone else navigating the same journey can lead to a quiet kind of loneliness.
-
Big social media platforms are overwhelming, ad-filled, and often full of misinformation.
And let’s be honest — not everyone wants to be “social” in the traditional sense. Especially if you’re introverted, neurodivergent, or just tired.
But what if you could carry a supportive, like-minded community in your pocket?
Introducing PhysiHub
PhysiHub is a free online community built for people living with neurological conditions, and the people who support them.
It’s like a forum, but more than that. It’s a place to:
-
Ask questions, get real answers, and share what’s worked for you
-
Stay up-to-date with PhysiKit launches, insights, and tips
-
Join fun community challenges to stay motivated, and on top of your goals
-
Celebrate wins or vent frustrations without judgement
-
Connect with others facing similar conditions through condition-specific support circles
Whether you’re managing MS fatigue, supporting a partner through Parkinson’s, or recovering after stroke, this is your space.
What Makes PhysiHub Different?
Unlike noisy Facebook groups or broad health forums, PhysiHub is:
✅ Ad-free – No sponsored posts. No noise. Just support.
✅ Evidence-led – Moderated by physiotherapists, with clear moderation and expert input.
✅ Designed for real life – Drop in when you want, participate how you like.
✅ Focused on what matters – Rehab motivation, daily wins, mental health, movement, community.
Is There a Cost?
PhysiHub is open and free to join, with new content and challenges that are constantly evolving.
In the future, we may expand the Hub to include optional extras such as:
-
💻 Live workshops or webinars
-
🧍♀️ Small group exercise classes
-
🎙️ Interviews with health professionals and community members
-
📚 Self-guided video libraries for those wanting to dive deeper into neuro-based exercise
These features will help us sustain the community and may eventually sit behind a paywall, but PhysiHub’s core spaces will always remain free.
We’re building this together, and we’d love for you to be part of it from the start.
